Winter holiday bingo in Fjellpuben - February 27th
This evening, Marianne Riste is leading the bingo – and that can mean laughter, small derailments and surprises along the way.
About tonight's bingo host:
Marianne Riste is the library manager at Vang Public Library. She jokes and jokes a lot, but she is an adult and can behave accordingly when she needs to – according to the library's website, – which makes her the perfect bingo host for a fun evening at Fjellpuben!
Practical information:
– Online registration is now closed, but you can show up and pay for participation on site
– Price: NOK 100,-
– Age limit: 18 years
– The price includes two bingo sheets
Juice Bowl Race - Wednesday week 8 & 9
A fun classic for the winter holidays – at Tyin Filefjell! In the Saftbollerennet, it's not about driving the fastest – but about getting down the hill with a full cup of juice in one hand.
The rules are simple: Participants start at the top of the children's lift with a full cup of juice, and the goal is to have as much juice left in the cup as possible at the finish line.
The juice bowl race is held in the children's area, and is perfect for children who want to take part in a small, fun challenge with lots of laughter and a good atmosphere. Starts at 12:00 in the children's area.
Practical information:
- Age: 0-14 years, with the proviso that they can take the lift alone, or have parents helping.
- Registration must be done online.
- Meet at the children's lift from 11:00 - Registration/distribution of start numbers.
- Race start from the top of the children's lift at 12:00.
- Price: NOK 50,-
- Helmets are of course mandatory!
Årdalsnettdagen – Tuesday, February 24
Welcome to Årdalsnettdagen at Tyin Filefjell – a whole day filled with winter fun for young and old! There will be both a ski bus and a sledding competition, with prizes and a great atmosphere.
The event is free, but registration is mandatory for all participants, and must be done via the form for ski bus and/or sledding competition. You can choose to join one activity – or both!

This afternoon, Årdalsnett is offering floodlit evening skiing in Børrenøsheisen (trail 5 and children's area), and the Skikafeen is open.
Registration is mandatory for anyone without a valid lift pass (300 places, first come, first served), and confirmation email must be shown when picking up a free lift pass at the lift.

Tyin Cup 2026 consists of four competitions for ski-loving girls and boys aged 7–15, with a focus on mastery, community and great experiences on the slopes – and of course a little extra excitement with timing, speakers and music.
Sunday, February 15th is the day for Tyin Cup part 2, and this time ski cross is on the program! Registration is free, but to participate you must register in the form below.

This 2-day course is suitable for those who have no avalanche knowledge and want to learn about safe travel on a mountain hike. Here we start at the beginning. Come as you are and join us in creating a good learning environment.
The trips will mainly take place in the Tyin Filefjell area, where the terrain provides good opportunities for easy and fun skiing and varied terrain with good learning opportunities.

The ski café is also open – perfect for a warm break between rounds.
Registration
- Registration in the form is mandatory for those who do not already have a season ticket or other valid card for this evening. If you do not pre-register, you will not receive a free lift ticket.
- 300 places, first come, first served!
- Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email. This must be presented when collecting your free lift ticket.
- The lift pass must be picked up physically at the Børrenø lift at the start of the evening skiing.
- By registering, you confirm that you have read and accepted our terms of sale and the alpine rules of conduct.

Whether you want to take a short break after a day on the slopes, or make it a whole evening, you are most welcome in. Welcome to Filefjellstuene during the winter holidays!
During the winter holiday weeks, Filefjellstuene will show Olympic broadcasts in the Fjellpuben during the day, and will offer pastries, spreads and waffles from the reception every day from 11 am to 5 pm. See you!
PS: Remember that you can slide into Filefjellstuene from Grøvsløypa, and straight down to Tørisheisen after a little refueling.
Tyin Filefjell Ski Center
During the winter holidays, the ski center is open every day from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with varied trails and safe surroundings for both young and old.
At the foot of the Børrenøse lift you will find Skikaféen , with lunch, fresh pastries, snacks and something delicious in a cup – perfect for a break between trips.
And for those of you who want to develop your skiing skills, we offer ski school with private lessons for all levels, from the youngest to experienced skiers. Ski school is booked in advance, and follows the ski center's opening hours.
- The ski center is open every day during the winter holidays from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Ski school and Ski café follow the ski center's opening hours.
