Take day trips on the historic King's Road

The King's Road over Filefjell was opened in 1793. At Tyin Filefjell you live "in the middle of nowhere" with easy access to several of the finest sections of the road.

We have also facilitated simple and eventful hiking experiences with ready-made packages that include accommodation and transport to/from the various daily stages.

Several of the sections on Kongevegen can be done as day trips/round trips. Some of the routes must be walked back the same way, unless you have several cars in your group.
