The 2,157-meter-high Uranostinden is a landmark in the southern part of Jotunheimen, and a fantastic hike in varied terrain – including an exciting glacier passage.
Uranostinden was first climbed in 1876, and is considered by many to be one of Jotunheimen's most beautiful peaks. The view from the top is fantastic, with peaks and mountain lakes as far as the eye can see. On clear days, it is actually possible to see all the way to Gaustatoppen in the south.
