On June 20th, we will open the course with a U-disc competition.

Welcome to Tyin Filefjell Disc Golf

We are pleased to welcome you to our 18-hole disc golf course!

Here you play in beautiful nature with views of our mountains. The course has different routes, making it suitable for both those who have never tried disc golf before and experienced players.

Key Information about the Course

We are very proud of our course, which offers something for all skill levels. Here you will find suitable challenges for both complete beginners in disc golf and experienced players. To achieve the best possible score, you need to master many different types of throws, interpret tee signs well, and think a little outside the box.

Routes:

The course has 3 different routes, marked on signs at the tee pads and in the UDisc app.

Orange route: A short 4-hole round, perfect for families and beginners.

Blue route: A complete 18-hole course for experienced players seeking a challenge.

The course is well-marked with signs showing the way to the next tee pad and to the basket from the tee. If you don't see a sign from a red or orange basket, you will find it after the blue basket.

The course is located at Filefjellstuene. The starting point is at the bridge where Kongevegen crosses Grøvstølvegen.

Introduction to Disc Golf

If you haven't played disc golf before, these are the most important rules to know.

 • Each hole starts at the marked tee pad.

 • After the tee shot, all subsequent throws must be made from where the disc lands.

• The player furthest from the basket throws first, even if it means throwing multiple times in a row.

• No player may go in front of the player who is throwing. This is to avoid dangerous situations.

• The hole is completed when the disc comes to rest in the basket.

 • The player who took the fewest throws on the previous hole starts first at the next tee.

 • Show consideration for other players by being quiet and still when they are throwing.

Course Usage Rules

• Show respect for other people, animals, and nature.

• Do not throw if you might hit others or if you do not have a clear view of the area.

• Be careful when retrieving discs near the river, as there may be slippery rocks or edges.

• All use of the facility is at your own risk.
