Prepare for magnificent views and a fantastic trip in majestic surroundings.

The 1404-meter-high Stølsnøse is in many ways Skørsnøse's "little brother," but the view from here is almost as fantastic. The starting point for the hike is at the first sharp right turn after Tyinkrysset, along Fv53 towards Tyin.

The start is steep but harmless, but otherwise, the hike continues through low heather and grassland. Follow the mountain ridge up to the viewpoint at 1404 meters above sea level. From here, you have a great view towards Tyin and Jotunheimen to the north. Furthermore, the view is also splendid over Filefjell to the south.

An alternative and more family-friendly hike can be started from Tyin.
