Stølsnøse is an easy and very nice summit hike for the whole family. The peak can be climbed from several sides, depending on weather and snow conditions.

The safest route is from Tyin, and it also often has good snow conditions. This route is well suited for both adults and children who have a good foundation of skiing skills and enjoy uphill slopes.

The mountain can also be climbed from Bjørdalen. There are several steeper options where you must be able to control the snow conditions to move.

Parking: Lot along highway 53 at the southwest end of Tyin Vannet, or at the very start of highway 53 at the Tyinkrysset intersection, at the entrance to Bjørdalen.
