A relatively easily accessible 2000-meter peak

The hike to the 2075-meter-high Galdeberget is doable for most people in normal good shape.

The tour starts from Eidsbugarden, where there are good parking options.

Follow the DNT trail with signs to Gjendebu at the start. After the bridge over Høystakka, turn off the trail and head east towards the summit. Pass Uksedalshøe, 1694 m. on the south side.

Pass a new river just west of a small lake at 1490 m. From here on up there is rock walking in the wind on the ridge which gradually becomes more and more noticeable.
