Take day trips on the historic King's Road

The King's Road over Filefjell was opened in 1793. At Tyin Filefjell you live "in the middle of nowhere" with easy access to several of the finest sections of the road.

Several of the sections on the King's Road can be done as day trips/round trips. Some of the routes must be walked back the same way, unless you have several cars in your group. We also have ready-made King's Road packages with transport included, so you can walk the authentic King's Road without detours.
