Ascend the icon of Tyin Filefjell
No other mountain peak is as prominent from Tyinkrysset as the 1453-meter high Skørsnøse.
Skørsnøse offers great views over all of Jotunheimen, south into Valdres, and towards the Hemsedal mountains.
The ascent takes approximately 2 hours from Grihamarstølen. Allow an extra 15 minutes if you start from Filefjellstuene.
Parking available at Grihamarstølen. Follow the marked trail (white V) towards Bjørddalen. At the viewpoint overlooking Bjørddalsvannet, the trail splits. Choose the left path up the slopes towards the summit of Skørsnøse. The summit is ascended from the northern direction in easy, pleasant terrain.
