From Filefjellstuene, head south up through the forest into open terrain, towards trail number 9 in the Ski Resort. Here you can follow or cross this trail.

The terrain consists of gentle slopes with some smaller, but steep formations, making it easy to find good routes. Along the way, you gradually get better views of the area around Tyin and Filefjell. If you keep too far to the west, closer to the lift system, it becomes steeper and somewhat more avalanche-prone.

The summit at 1297 meters above sea level offers a good overview of the surrounding area, with views in multiple directions.

The descent normally follows the same route as the ascent, in gentle and easily navigable terrain. The trip can also be planned as a simple round trip by following trails down through the ski center, depending on snow conditions and open slopes.
