This weekend is a highlight in the mountains, bringing together cabin dwellers, visitors and locals. The Tyin Filefjell Extreme mountain race is being held for the third time, and there will be several other activities and experiences for young and old.
In Tyin Filefjell Extreme 2025 you can choose between three distances: 7, 21 and 53 km. Registration for all three races is open, register today and secure your place in this autumn's running adventure!

What happens at Filefjellstuene?
There's not only stuff happening on the trails during the festival. At Filefjellstuene there's activity and life all day long, for runners, the public and anyone who wants to take part in the great festival atmosphere.
Local food market
From 11am-3pm, the gathering place outside Filefjellstuene is transformed into a bustling market filled with flavors from local producers. Here you will find everything from freshly baked buns to fresh meat and high-quality cheeses. Local, authentic and made with care.
Autumn party dinner
To round off this year's mountain festival, we invite you to an atmospheric evening at Filefjellstuene. Here, runners, the public and anyone who just wants to enjoy a good meal in pleasant company gather.
Local autumn flavors are served. Short-distance, rich in tradition and perfect for sharing around the table.

Both the restaurant and the mountain pub will be open throughout the festival. There will be a great atmosphere, tasty food and something for everyone, whether you want a good meal or just something by the glass.

Our friends at Årdalsnett are back with their popular puzzle trail! Children will have the opportunity to explore the area around Filefjellstuene in a fun and exciting way, while solving puzzles and finding items along the way. There will be activities, small challenges and lots of fun for young and old. All participants will receive nice prizes.
