Regulations

General rules

  • All participants must wear a helmet!  
  • Pushing/pushing is not acceptable.  
  • If the race is interrupted, the runner must notify the nearest race official immediately.  
  • Optional ski equipment - alpine/telemark or snowboard  

Start number

  • Start number must be visible during the competition.  
  • It is not allowed to change/add anything to the start number, lost start numbers must be replaced. 
  • All participants must pick up their start number at the designated location before the race.  

Class division

  • Individual start with a start interval of 15 seconds between each runner.  
  • Reint Moro is a competition for everyone.  
  • Our requirement is that you MUST be able to stand on all ski lifts on your own.  
  • Upon registration, participants will be divided into classes according to age/gender.

On the way on the trail

  • On the course, officials wear yellow vests and flags at certain points.  
  • Flag up means: reduce speed so you can stop immediately.
    These flags are used if there is an injury or other obstacle in the runner's path. The participant undertakes to drive according to the conditions, maintain a speed that is within their control and to drive carefully.  
  • All participants must follow the designated trail route and all runners will be verified at the bottom/top of all lifts.  
  • If weather/wind or other unforeseen circumstances make it impossible to carry out the event as initially planned, the organizer has the right to change the course route in the hope of carrying out the event as best as possible.

Insurance

The event, Tyin Filefjell AS or sponsors are not responsible for participants who are injured in the competition. Each participant is responsible for being aware of where the course is and calculating how to run the race, to avoid dangerous situations. 

Privacy Policy

By registering, you agree to the competition format and rules, and agree that your name, date of birth, location, start number, and time may be published. Photos and films taken in connection with the event may be used freely by the organizer and sponsors for marketing purposes.

Declaration of consent

During Reint Moro, photos will be taken that may be used in a commercial context. By registering, I agree that registered participant(s) may be depicted in such contexts in Tyin-Filefjell and associated businesses and partners' channels.

Disclaimer

Everyone who registers for the event accepts the disclaimer (participants under 18 years of age must have a signed declaration from their parents when collecting their start number). Violation of the regulations will lead to disqualification. Any questions should be directed to skisenter@tyin.no. Disclaimer

The liability waiver must be signed by all participants when collecting their start number. Participants under the age of 18 must also have a guardian's signature.

Disclaimer for Reint Moro 2025

As with any other activity, this race can also be associated with some risk. The athlete must take responsibility for risks and injuries that may occur in connection with participation in the competition. It is assumed that the participant has approved safety equipment, which the competition requires: helmet, skis/snowboard, boots, bindings, back plate. It is the athlete's responsibility to ensure that the safety equipment works properly. The athlete has full and complete responsibility for participating in the competition, and must assess the speed based on their own skills. The organizer has conducted a risk analysis/assessment, and we will secure the arena against unwanted incidents. In several places, the trail network will consist of officials who direct and monitor the competition. In addition, Norwegian People's Aid, Grindaheim Aid Corps will assist us on this day.

Disclaimer

As a participant in this event, I accept full and complete responsibility during skiing, telemarking or snowboarding, and cannot make claims against the organizer or its partners for any injuries or accidents that may occur. I accepted this when registering for the event.
