About tonight's bingo host:
Marianne Riste is the head librarian at Vang Public Library. She jokes and fusses a lot, but is an adult and can behave accordingly when necessary – according to the library's website – which makes her a perfect bingo host for a fun evening at Fjellpuben!

Juice Bun Race - Wednesday week 8 & 9
A fun classic during the winter holiday – at Tyin Filefjell! In the Juice Cup Race, it's not about skiing fastest – but about getting down the hill with a full cup of juice in one hand.
The rules are simple: Participants start at the top of the children's lift with a full cup of juice, and the goal is to have as much juice as possible left in the cup at the finish line.
The Juice Cup Race is held on the children's slope and is perfect for children who want to join a small, fun challenge with lots of laughter and a great atmosphere. The race starts at 12:00 PM on the children's slope.
Practical information:
- Age: 0-14 years, provided they can use the lift alone or have parents assisting them.
- Registration must be done online.
- Meet at the children's lift from 11:00 AM - Registration/distribution of bib numbers.
- Race start from the top of the children's lift at 12:00 PM.
- Price: NOK 50.
- Helmets are, of course, mandatory!
Årdalsnett Day – Tuesday, February 24
Welcome to Årdalsnettdagen at Tyin Filefjell – a full day filled with winter joy for all ages! There will be both a ski scavenger hunt and a sledding competition, with prizes and a great atmosphere.
The event is free, but registration is mandatory for all participants and must be done via the form for the ski scavenger hunt and/or sledding competition. You can choose to join one activity – or both!

This afternoon, Årdalsnett offers free illuminated evening skiing in the Børrenøsheisen lift (slope 5 and the children's area), and Skikafeen will be open.
Registration is mandatory for anyone without a valid lift pass (300 spots, first come, first served), and email confirmation must be shown when collecting the free lift pass at the lift.

The Tyin Cup 2026 consists of four competitions for ski-loving girls and boys aged 7–15, focusing on achievement, community, and great experiences on the slopes – and, of course, a little extra excitement with timing, an announcer, and music.
Sunday, February 15, marks Tyin Cup Part 2, and this time, skicross is on the program! Registration is free, but to participate, you must sign up using the form below.

The lifts run non-stop until 8:00 PM, so just put on your skis and make the most of the evening.
Learn about safe travel in the mountains and acquire the techniques you need to master ski touring on your own. This course is suitable for new ski touring enthusiasts who want to learn about skiing outside groomed trails.
This 2-day course is for those without avalanche knowledge who wish to learn about safe travel on ski tours. We start from the beginning here. Come as you are and join us in creating a great learning environment.
The tours will primarily take place in the Tyin Filefjell area, where the terrain offers excellent opportunities for easy and enjoyable skiing, as well as varied terrain with great learning possibilities.

- Registration via the form is mandatory for those who do not already have a season pass or other valid card this evening. If you are not pre-registered, you will not receive a free lift pass.
- 300 spots available, it's first come, first served!
- Upon registered enrollment, you will receive a confirmation by email. This must be presented when collecting your free lift pass.
- The lift pass must be collected in person at Børrenøsheisen at the start of the evening skiing.

During the winter holiday weeks, Filefjellstuene will show Olympic broadcasts in Fjellpuben during the day, and offer baked goods, sandwiches, and waffles from the reception every day from 11:00 to 17:00. See you there!
PS: Remember that you can ski directly to Filefjellstuene from Grøvsløypa, and then straight down to Tørisheisen after a little refreshment.
Tyin Filefjell Ski Centre
During the winter holiday, the ski center is open every day from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, offering varied slopes and a safe environment for both adults and children.
At the foot of the Børrenøse lift, you'll find Skikaféen, offering lunch, fresh pastries, snacks, and warm drinks – perfect for a break between runs.
And for those who wish to develop their skiing skills, we offer ski school with private lessons for all levels, from the very youngest to experienced skiers. Ski school must be booked in advance and follows the ski center's opening hours.
