Mountain running for all levels

We are introducing an exciting new distance at the Mountain Festival: Børrenøse Skyrace – 7 km in spectacular high mountain scenery.

Børrenøse Skyrace is a mountain race for everyone, from experienced mountain runners to families and hikers who want an active Saturday hike together. Here you can take on the challenge at your own pace, whether you want to run for the best time, jog with a view or walk the hike as a nature experience in itself.

The 7 km long trail with 450 meters of elevation gain offers a real high mountain feeling, with the possibility of both rough weather with rain and wind, to sun and clear views of Jotunheimen's majestic peaks. With the highest point at 1297 meters above sea level, you get both mastery and magical nature experiences, regardless of your pace.
