Build a strong team at altitude

Bring your colleagues, sports team, association, family or group of friends for a social and active mountain day at Tyin Filefjell Extreme.

Børrenøse Skyrace is a 7-kilometer round trip in the high mountains, with the start and finish at Filefjellstuene. Here you can walk, jog or run – together or at your own pace. Some go for the best time, others for the view, the community and the feeling of crossing the finish line as part of a team.

You don't need to be experienced mountain runners, but all participants should be somewhat used to traveling in the mountains.

One challenge – many ways to participate

Børrenøse Skyrace is a great way to meet as a group. You can train together leading up to the race, travel together to Tyin Filefjell and cheer each other on along the course.

It is not necessary to keep the same pace. Some can walk the entire trip, others can jog or run. Everyone participates at their own pace and meets again at the finish line at Filefjellstuene.

Børrenøse Skyrace is suitable for, among other things:

  • Companies that want a social and active day outside the office
  • Sports teams, associations and training groups
  • Families who want to go on a mountain hike together
  • Groups of friends who want a common autumn goal
  • Individuals who want to be part of the running experience

How to sign up for a team

All participants register and pay individually through EQ Timing. During registration, each participant chooses which team, company or association they wish to represent.

1. Decide on the team name

Agree on the name the team will use before the first participant signs up. Feel free to use the official name of the company, team or association.

2. The first participant registers the team

The first person to register enters the team's name in the free text field on the registration form.

3. The rest of the team chooses the correct name

Once the team is registered, the next participants can find and select the same team in the drop-down menu.

It is important that everyone chooses exactly the same team name. This will ensure that participants are registered as part of the same team.

If you don't find your team or company in the registration, please contact event manager Line Svien at line@tyin.no or phone 450 22 083 .
